In RT your melee characters can move as a group to engage enemies simultaneously, instead of piecemeal. But melee heavy parties will tend to prefer RT. TB is great for spellcaster heavy parties. Your party composition also makes a difference when considering TB or RT difficulty. But TB often will let some of those demons take a turn when otherwise they would have been stunned or not gotten to act, which can be very dangerous if they land a stun or crowd control on your party. In RT your characters will constantly stun and kill the demons that are spawning. The fight at the end of Act 1 in the Gray Garrison in Wrath of the righteous is another example of a fight that's much harder in TB. But in RT you can swarm over everything and get a bunch of AOOs when the archers try to shoot in melee range. It can be brutally difficult in TB mode since The archers will focus fire your characters one by one while you slowly move your team into position. The fight at the end of the prologue in kingmaker against all of the archers and mages is a good example. TB often gives enemies more time to focus fire your party. Please don't break those either.Įncounters where you're up against multiple dangerous archers or spellcasters tend to be easier in RT since you can close the distance very quickly with your whole party.
